Hi guys, done the engine swap on 7.4m redbay rib. Its a inboard diesel yamaha 4cyl,engine starts and runs perfect now the issue is...all the warning lights come on and go off as they should when turning ignition on but none of the gauges work, not working when just ignition on,not working when engine running. They are all analog gauges. All wiring loom connectors cleaned and checked.
Any help would be welcome TIA

You dont say what engine exactly but did you really mean Yamaha, or Yanmar,
What gauges do you have ?

I think I would start by checking the power supply to the gauges, Is there a fuse in the supply to them ?

Its a Yamaha straight 4 NOT yanmar. No fuses that i could see,all in one wiring loom from the engine to the front console.

I’ve just had a trawl through what manuals I could find which were not a lot of help... The one I did find shows a wiring harness that hooks the engine up to a Yamaha gauge set. So, did the OP swap out a Yamaha engine and replace with a similar engine? If so, then the gauges should be similar and the harness should work, in which case it requires a careful checking of all of the connections between engine and gauges.
If the Yamaha engine is replacing another make of engine, then it‘s probable that the existing gauges won’t work with the new engine and that’s where the problem lies.
