Wiring a wireless receiver to Atlas windlass

Hi,
I have just bought a WinchMax wireless remote kit to wire to my Lofrans Atlas 600 anchor windlass. Looking at the winchmax wiring diagram it's a simple question of connecting up the wireless receiver unit wires via a solenoid and to a Wander Lead Socket which I assume it's a separate socket. The problem I have is that the Atlas 600 has a built-in solenoid.
Does anyone know how to best wire the wireless unit without affecting the existing remote controls fixed on deck?
Also which of the two configuration is my Atlas related to? four wire motor or two wire motor?

Forget wander lead sockets, unless you already have a wander lead. Forget 2 wire or 4 wire installations, that's irrelevant.

Your remote transmitter has four wires, connect the negative to any convenient negative. Connect the positive wire to a convenient positive, fuse this wire at the supply end.

Connect the other two to the wires from the foot switches. There are two wires to each foot switch, one is positive, you need to connect to the other one, which will become positive when the switch is depressed or when you operate the wireless remote.

If you have a wander lead or a rocker switch, either of these can be used, which ever is the most convenient is best.
