Note that The Hubell and similar when using curved flat pins have different configurations depending on voltage and current
so are interchangeable . I hope the manual tells all as the web pages do not help
Usually the configuration is this......................
Looking at the plug end on with the curved ell shaped slot at 12 o clock............. This is earth or ground....
The curved slot at 4 o clock is for the Black conductor if in USA Canada and............This is Live.
The curved slot at 7 0 clock is for the White conductor if in USA Canada and............This is Neutral
The position of these slots relative will vary slightly depending on the current rating and the above are for the lower
rating.
I changed it for one of the more normal blue 16A ones...
I wish someone had told this to the UK builder of my present boat. When I bought her seven years ago, (pre-loved), I found reverse polarity, which tried to kill me. I changed it for one of the more normal blue 16A ones, and always carry, and check with a tester plug.
