Re: Wireless internet access and \'hotspots\'

I'm sure I remember an American site which gave details of free hotspots world wide ie where someone had a wifi connection but hadnt password protected it. Apparently, this is very common. Anyone know anything about the site?

As long as I didnt interfere with their use I wouldnt see any problem in doing this. And I would be quite happy for anyone to use mine since it wouldnt cost me any more.

Google on warchalking, couldn't possible offer any other guidance.

Re: Wireless internet access and \'hotspots\'

Indeed I did. Not sure where I got that from though...I think HWMO mentioned vaguely he'd seen it written somewhere, so I just took my laptop down there and it worked like a dream. Fast as a very fast thing, no problems.
