Wintering in Spain

We plan to leve our Carter 30 somwhere betwen Portosin and Bayona
in Spain. Does anybody have information on suitable place for 3 month
oktober to dezember - low cost is esential.

Have you considered going a little further south to Portugal because the weather is better and marinas like Portimao and Albufeira are cheaper than the Spanish marinas

Go up the Rias of Galicia.

The north one - I forget its name.
Camerinas is the town and tiny cheap marina.

There's some Spainish tax rule about leaving boats and people fell foul of it last year. Cant remember the deatils but suggest you look it up.

We left our at the Real Club Maritimo in Bilbao . Excellent. Half the cost of the marina. And facilitites you wouldnt believe.

agree regarding bilbao but try villagarcia at head of ria d arosa. large sheltered marina with all facilities and close to santiago de compostela airport. they have a web site

Vilagarcia is brilliant - especially the Irish Pub a block back from the marina, but the marina is expensive compared to Portigual (Was Euro 17 per night compared to Euro 10 per night in Portimao)

camarinas would be a distinctly unwise,uncomfortable and possibly unsafe place to overwinter. i think you may be confusing it with caraminal on the ria d arosa which is another option
