A few moorings are currently available at Canal du Midi PK65 Castelnaudary - a pretty good place, with a few other liveaboards for company.

for information - our boat is now ashore with Chantier Allemand (Grau D'Agde).

We are renting a property from now until mid-summer next year about 15 mins from Castelnaudary so if anyone either there or on the Midi needs some help/assistance boat watching etc. etc. just let me know.
My French is improving and we are getting to know some of the locals (VNF and others).Andy
