Winter Mooring Amsterdam area

I am probably going to order a new Dutch 35 footer shortly and am thinking of leaving her near Amsterdam for the Winter. Looking at the maps, places like Edam, Volendam etc do not seem to be on readily accessible routes from Amsterdam station or Schipol. Can anybody advise me of a marina in the area that I can get to fairly easily by public transport? Sixhaven seems ok but I am told it is a very cramped place.

We bought a boat from Lelystad. Train goes from Amsterdam to Lelystad then taxi to marina. Quite easy.

I thought there was a direct train connection from Volendam to Amsterdam Centraal. 'Bout 20 minutes.

We left our boat in Brugge once, a great experince and a really good town for stay in weekends, very easy to get to zeebrugge and then a short drive or train to Brugge.

ps I know its not Holland but still very close, I did have a boat in Loosdrechect but the connection of train and cab was expensive and time consuming allthough a great [place , would of been ok with a car.
