How about a winter meet up for a meal somewhere?

Maybe that nice man from Boulters will offer us a special deal in his nice new restaurant or the Kings Arms in Cookham is also a nice place within reach for many whether up or down river?

After New Year I think - say February sometime?

Initial votes for or against and we'll move forward from there.

Boulters would be good for a fixed price, it would show they mean business.

We could all bring poles to test the depth, assuming the river isn't in flood by then!

There I was thinking there is at least one gadget I have that he hasn't got and then.....

Still you haven't got a Broom yet.....(challenge!)

Hey its saved me a £260 lift out so its paid for itself already...

My anodes still have plenty of metal on them and I even checked the split pins on the end of my props...

OK Guyz & Gals. If you have all been wondering what to get me for Christmas here's your answer.
If you all chip in a few quid you'll soon raise the money.

H,mmm

So go on.... tell me this......who in your lot is going to learn how to operate an actual lock all on your own and in the middle of winter* then ?

*A time when the grass is uncut, no flowers, hanging baskets or lockies greet your arrival and you may have to touch your own actual ropes and stuff and poss. get real mud on the white Wilton.

Don't remember saying anything about boats or locks and stuff? Just meeting up for a meal !

Mind you, need a bit of intelligence to work that out............

'course there's nothing to stop you coming up by boat to show us all how it's done, but do mind the islands......
