No idea, but it looks good. Kahlenberg had the Titanic's whistle sent to them for restoration and for making three copies for the titanic museums.

These are all for fun. These are also used per USCG regulations regarding fireworks displays, where they require all boats in-attendance to sound their horns after the finale. I let everyone else go first, then sound the D-1 horns. There is nothing else to say after that...

Good work on the compressor setup, Wingless. Bet it took an age to put together!

Given the ID of the pipe, what have you set your pressure regulator at? The D-1s will happily sound at 80 - 100 PSI and the whilstle won't really increase in dB when increaseing the PSI above 100. So if you're wanting extra toot without putting in extra storage or pressurising the tank further, it might be a consideration to drop the regulator to 120 / 110 PSI?

Purely out of the interest of a law student and professional mariner, is this in the CFR's or is it a local regulation?
I tried a quick look but I struggle to find US regulations online, there is just too many and I'm not familiar.
