Has anybody ever booked these guys we paid at the boat show to come to our house to do a wine evening we have been let down twice now ,any comments

I have dealt with Pieroth for over 10 years..
Never come across Romanet.
You have to buy boxes, but they do mix and match them.
Do a very nice Port, that I keep on the boat..
My rep is very reliable, but I do spend quite a lot of money with him.
SWIMBO says too much.

Hi just a report back ,after some very poor customer service ,from one employee who i am told has now left the company,we had the wine tasting evening which was most enjoyable ,just before xmas and two cap it all off 2 bottles of champagne arrived on xmas eve .so romanet managed to pull the problem around ,well done .roy

if anyone needs to hold a wine tasting evening in North Wales, I can highly commend the Revd. Marcus Wyn Robinson. A larger than life. Welsh and English speaking minister,(yes really!) formerly a professional sommelier
He had us in tears of laughter at Pwlllheli sailing club, and the wine was pretty good as well!
He is in Bethel, near Caernarfon
Cheers

I had a letter today announcing that as of Jan 1st 2015, Pieroth and Romanet will officially merge..
Together with a £50 voucher that I am hiding from SWIMBO..

We bought a Pieroth voucher for a friend's 70th.

The local area guy came and 4 of us tasted 17 wines, a whisky liquer and a port. You are then asked if you want to order any of course. The friend and I shared a case as it was £16 a bottle. We got through 5 of our 6 over Christmas and it was very nice, super smooth, long finish. Admired by all. It's almost worth drinking less in order to drink better. Almost but probabaly not quite.

I ordered from Pieroth a few years ago, it was a one off as it was quite expensive.
Delivery was prompt and the wine lovely.
However, for the next couple of years I was plagued with phonecalls asking me to order more when the rep was in the area. Every few months my name would come up on their computer and I would get up to 4 calls a day. The caller could not remove me from their list, I had to phone head office for that.
I would never deal with them again, but it is nice to hear that others have had good dealings.
