Wine Glasses?

But I don't think the buget is going to stretch to sterling silver flutes.

Any suggestions?

TY!

Oh yes it will.....

I bought 8 Mappin & Webb Silver plated goblets for 8 quid plus postage. These complement the 2 given to us by my Mum as a launching present.

There are hundreds there, and you can't break them.

I

IMHO, important to have a glass that allows the wine to breath a bit- so any wide-topped glass will do. I agree

.

Exactly what I have.......No longer available from my source.....A Shell petrol promotion in the early seventies ....I use the champagne glasses for prawn cocktails. All pretty robust and often seen in car boot sales;):D

I had a look at their site after your post but couldn't find anything for anywhere near £1 each! Or did you get them off Ebay?

Ebay of course.
there are loads of people who inherited these things which they will never use and want shot of them.
Which is where we come in.

The bloke I bought mine off sent me a note hoping that I would use them, as his parents had never used them in 30 years, just kept them for 'best' whatever that was.
Shame really, as they are perfect for boating use, and very flash to boot.
