We have a windsreen made from two pannels joined in the middle under ally frame. Each half is curved and held in an ally frame. The screen is approx 4mm thick lexan (or similar).

Unfortunately right in the middle of the bend a vertical crack appeared in one of the pannels and spread top to bottom leaving a gap between the two parts.

The only real solution is to fit a new lexan pannel however this will take several weeks to get a pannel made and fitted.

The question is can anyone recomend a glue that will hold the two parts together (and seal out the rain) as a temporary fix ?

Use araldite or any epoxy resin or even super glue type instant hardening. I believe also some solvents are used to in effect weld perspex together. god luck olewill
