Windscreen mounting brackets!

I am looking for the mounting brackets, at corner of windscreen on my wooden motorboat, (early 1960s) originals are badly pitted, made of same material as other fittings, not brass, chrome flaking off, new or second-hand? managed other fittings from company Timeage. JBD

Davey and co had windscreen mounts in a recent catalogue...May be what you're looking for. If not, then the old ones are likely to be Mazak - an alloy beloved of car manufacturers in the 50's and 60's and notoriously difficult to rechrome as it gets porous with age.. BUT there are good chromers out there who may be able to rescue them. Have a browse through "Practical Classics" or similar to find one near you.

You could always take them to a local foundry and have replacements cast in bronze and have these chromed.
