I need to replace the 6 windows on a 1980 Moody 36 and am thinking of using Salford House Services in Sevenoaks who advertise in PBO. Has anyone any experience of them or other window suppliers, good , bad or bargepole?

Not familiar with your boat, but have you considered having them re-furbished instead of replacement? - should be much cheaper and they will refit as well to ensure you don't get any leaks. Try a local marine window supplier near your boat. My local supplier in Norwich does this service.

Yes - I've used them. I bought all the seals and bits from them to replace the acrylic in the windows and Lewmar hatch on my Moody 29. The guy there was extremely helpful showing me exactly how to strip them down and bed the acrylic in to the frames. If you have the aluminium framed windows the actual frames seal very well to the coachroof using the special tape they sell at Sevenoaks.

They will do a full refurbishment of your windows if you prefer and the ones I saw there looked pretty much like new.

Very impressed and would not hesitate to recommend them.
