windlass foot switches or hand-held?

Regarding the three remotes I ordered, they have arrived from Singapore in six days. Better than a lot of UK companies - and they all work!

Any recommendations for foot switches, I only have mine as backups for wireless remote but after only a year fitted under the anchor well hatch they are a PITA to operate. They are Lofrans and I guess full of water!
