has anyone ever had the mast top speed and direction indicator apart if so how much can be repaired. i thought the spoons had fallen of mine (again)but in a marina last week and standing almost eye to eye with it i saw it was the pin and spoons missing so when i take the mast down this winter am i going to be able to fix it ta kieron

My mate had his vanes fall off last year - had to get a complete new assembly as the small shaft which the vanes mount onto had broken - and on the new one had to cut off the large moulded on plug on the end of the cable to be able to post it down the mast.... Why don't manufacturers think about this sort of thing?
