If you have any old sails that can be cut up for scrap cloth you can make a bag pretty easily for your jib. If you roll the jib so final parcel is long sausage shaped then stowage becomes a bit more difficult but you can still make a bag easily. If you can't find an old sail then buy a tarpaulin or similar of suitable fabric.
Decide what diameter you need the bag and cut out a circle about 3cm large in diameter. Cut out a rectangle of fabric the width being the depth of the bg you want. The lenght being a bit more than the circumference of the finished bag. Using a domestic sewing machine and heaviest thread you can fit in the machine sew the long edge of the rectangle to the circumference of the circle (bottom) Overlap about 1cm of hem. Go right around until you meet the starting point. Now fold the excess length of the rectangle to make a hem.
Now when you turn the bag inside out the hems will face inwards. You can fold over the top edge to facilitate a bit of cord in the hem with an opening gap to enable you to pull the top together to close the bag.
For long sausage bag you make 2 circles being the 2 ends of the bag. Leave the seam where the rectangle joins to itself partially not sewn. You can attach velcro or a zipper to close off.
If you have a sewing machine you will begin to discover that it can be fun to fabricate all sorts of canvas work for your boat. You can get books on the subject with lots of projects. Start off making tiny bags that become winch covers. good luck olewill

Before I took my Lewmar winches apart I checked out the very helpful information on their website - there's a downloadable guide to servicing all of their winches, including the old ones (this is also included in their winch service pack, along with oil, grease and a soft brush). Some of the general boat servicing/maintenance books have a chapter on the same, though it may not refer directly to the same winch as yours but principles will be similar. Finally, as already said above, there's Youtube and Captain Google, etc.
Rule 1 - pick a dry day, get comfortable and set up your "service area" before you start
Rule 2 - start with one and take sequential pictures to assist re-assembly if you're unsure
Rule 3 - be very careful about removing the pawls. Try to form a kind of protective "cage" with your hands and fingers as you lift them out, otherwise you will very easily lose the spring (best to have spares with you before you start anyway)
Once you've done the first one, the subsequent ones will be much easier!

One way of preventing springs, pawls and similar from going walkabout is to find a cardboard box; cut a hole in the bottom to fit the base of the winch drum and then place it over the winch before you start to dismantle. You will work through the open top of the box, the sides of which will help to stop any bits that try to fly away.

I was involved some years back in a race with boats called Foundation 36. The foundation have 10 identical boats available for match racing etc. In this regatta each boat had a green flag to be shown if there was a problem with gear. The maintenance man was prowling in a RIB. A 2 speed jib winch went stiff in one short race so the green flag was raised. This guy roared up in his rib attached to the stern of the F36 whose jib was dropped and kept sailing under main only. He spread out a piece of cloth. Dismantled that winch, lubricated it and reassembled it in about 2 mins. Jumped back in his rib and the next race was started with only a slight delay.
So wih care and experience OP will soon master his winches. I can lubricate my one speed between tacks if neceessary. good luck olewill

Hi guys, im looking for a second hand Jib bag for my Mini 650, Im in Plymouth Uk.

I am sure you are aware of the material used for the agregate bags one gets from builders merchants.
I buy a lot of chain etc & it comes in smaller versions of the same bags. ( My chain comes from EYE at levington so they may sell you one)
if you look around you may find an agregate bag from a building site- easy to get the sail in, Fairly breathable so sail should get ventilated
Strong handles so easy to lift from locker etc plus a wide opening to get sail in when folded
better still if you can get the half sized ones with the fixed botom rather than the opening one that agregate bags have
