Winch repair (major)

I would welcome any suggestions as to where spares or replacement parts for this winch might be available or where I might get get something similar

It has "Tuph-Fittings England" printed on it; it's about 8.5 cms across and it came off an old Hilliard

I'd start by dismantling it and establish exactly whats required in terms of parts, are they actually worn ? Soak in in kerosene for a few days The winches on my boat are all made by that company and they would be pretty common on 50s/60/s boats so picking up a spare at a boat jumble or e bay shouldn't be too difficult.

there isnt much to them in all honesty. looking at yours you have the two pawls, are the springs there?. clean up as above post should do it
