Winch Re-Chroming recommendations?

I have just removed my Lewmar 8’s & 16’s from the boat and I’m hoping to have them re-chromed.

If anyone has any recommendations/advice I would be most grateful!

Most plating companies will rechrome a winch, find a local one in your yellow pages. However they are few left as a lot packed it in due to H&S some years back. Look under 'electroplating'.

East Coast I see. If that far down then Medway Buffers on the Ind Est by the tunnel can sort it. Prob is that can only give a quote if under their nose

replace the chrome with a brass finish

Hi, not the same thing but I have my eye on a very nice windless but would like to replace the chrome finish with a brass finish. Is this possible? It would look so much better on my little classic!

Any suggestions…
