Hi all I wonder if anyone has or knows if there is a wiring diagram available online. ? I’ve had some problems with mine today misfiring and eventually stopping and refusing to start I’ve identified that I have no impulse to the injector on the rear cylinder I’ve had the rail out and checked it’s not the injector just no impulse so I need to try and trace if it’s an electrical break so where.

Hi thanks for the replies I have been in touch with Williams this has only confirmed my fears and they have supplied me with a wiring diagram for the textron 750 which is the engine I have, this has only confirmed my fears that the ecu has developed a fault. Under running conditions the injectors have a 12v supply to one terminal on the injector and the ecu earths the other to create the pulse I’ve checked all continuity on the cables which check out fine so this just leaves the ecu.
These are NLA from Williams and an obsolete part so my only hope is a used one ….. Any help will be gratefully received .

Plenty of auto electronics specialists who repair ECUs. Perhaps one of those could help?

Thread 'A Williams Jet Rib Guide'

I have had 2 Williams ribs.

Whenever anything is posted on the forum there are few if any informed replies, and most engineers wont touch them ( In Mallorca anyway) and say call Williams !

The forum has various opinions on Jet Ribs - which having owned them I can understand - but we all like different things !

I thought it might be useful to create a guide listing all i have learned so far in running them in the hope it might help others are a later date.

I have had a 2014 and 2008 Williams 325. The 2008 is a 750 cc model and the 2014 an 850.

The 750 Webber engine is no longer made...

I would also perhaps get the local Williams agent to scan it with their tool given the cost. It maybe someting that can be reconfigured / re flashed
