Wierd emails NB

I've started getting several wierd emails each day. They are sent to an obviously made-up name at my domain, the subject line is another made-up name and the body just contains a third made-up name. There are no attachments and nothing else in the email, even when viewed in plain text. I usually get six or seven at a time, all with different names. Anyone know what's going on?? Naturally I've not replied to any of them.

I heard that if you do respond to some of the commercial spam mails that you recive that sell goods or services there is nothng there anyway - so whats the motive ? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I get loads of junk mails with the name Evelyn Kochis somewhere in the subject heading. Bit bizarre since of course I automatically delete the mails without a second thought.
