Why the glaring silence from the Yachting press?

Hey Tim. Thanks for pointing out how great the RYA are again. I haven't read one of your posts for a while and was starting to believe those fools who think they're a useless bunch of beareucratic pompous upwind sailors

ps wish I could spell as well as you Tim

We have interesting rules in the US, too....

Bureaucrats run amok worldwide...

In the US, the EPA (Environmental Protection Administration) has decided that it has the authority to regulate green house gases.... so good, so far....

Now, of course, that includes Carbon Dioxide... as of course, as it is a green house gas.....

And cows emit a lot of methane, and carbon dioxide... so the EPA is giving itself authority there to reduce the number of cows or the manner in which they are "handled...."..

And you, my brother and sister, also emit that green house gas, Carbon Dioxide, so the EPA may in all its regulatory judgment tell you to quit breathing, stop passing gas, and cease the annoying burping... you can breath in without regulatory oversight, but breathing out is a different matter. Just when it occurs to right minded humans that they are now under the "breathing authority" of the EPA, I am not sure.

Until then - please reduce the unnecessary belching and avoid beans.

If this were not so beyond the bounds of reasonable logic, I would be totally amazed....

I just want to go sailing & hav'nt got time for all that bugle blowing.
A number of people on here asked directly what benefits they have brought & just got a resounding silence by way of a reply.Still the RYA seems to have no shortage of sycophants & obsequious grovelers........:)
