Why Ships Sink

Just watched it Steve, I've only been on one cruise, unless I'm at the helm of the next one I'm giving them a wide berth! Incidents of late and programmes like this must be doing wonders for bookings at this time.

The footage was scary, but most of all was the lack of attention to detail on safety and drills, as said in another programme I watched all safety drills should be carried out before the ship sails, not 2 days after it's left which was the case on our Thompson cruise.

Yes I know it was a cheapie but standard rules should apply irrelevant of cost, in our case I did comment about it. It just shows that no ship is unsinkable .
 
Crumbs! Just watched it....

Can't believe that the captin of the Concordia only had six years experience at sea, I assumed you would have had to have way more.

I might start getting my CV together!!
