Why just look at an aquarium, ...

Thanks SM, must admit that I never investigated the subject in much detail.
Actually, even with pics, I only take the time to play with some of them, now and then.
I guess you can loose your sleep, once you start tweaking seriously also videos...!
I'll try to look at Corel VS anyway, 'cause I heard praises also from a friend of mine who deals with these things also in his job.

Re. Tweaking videos: that is so very true. Although I've mostly become a pragmatic and just slap the everyday shots together for quick viewing. Otherwise they never get done.

The 'right' software depends on your needs, obviously, but also to certain extent the equipment you're using (both for shooting and viewing). I strongly advice on trying a trial before buying to see how the sw works for you.

I've done some head scratching on this some time ago, happy to share my findings, pm me if you need support.

Thanks for your offer, maybe during the next long winter nights I might ask you more about that.
You know, I have this tendency to focus on other things in summertime...! :D

A visit to the Skerries lagoon yesterday; absolutely crystal clear water, you could see all the rocks in the channel on the way in; scary ! Shame the water temperature was only 14 deg. C !
