You only have to observe the massive carping on these forums after every SIBS TV show to know why such a programme would never succeed.

Interesting to see who does what in TV.

many years as a producer / director, now a series producer. all factual / features high rating primetime shows. 'the bill' is a completely different type of production being drama.

that said - there is a place for the type of content discussed. and that's on the internet. here it is easily accessed (even from phones) globally so has a wider potential audience. if you go to youtube and type in sheet to tiller steering or fibre glass layup chances are there will already be something vaguely of use to you.....i won't be long before the likes of ybw get their journos trained up in multimedia (as many newspapers and magazines have done) and get them to produce content like this on a more professional basis.
