He is probably prepared the ground to tell us that he is going to buy a Stick and Rag boat. He will use it in the UK doing the week !!!

Obviously to go out then tell us is not much fun, but to build up to it over a number of weeks will provide more excitment.
He may even start posting over on the other side so that he knows the lingo. Tally Ho chaps ;-))

When I read the posts you are on about I thought he was more Anti Stupidity and Anti Petty Argument than Anti any particular breed of boat.

As far as I remember he often charters Sail Boats as well as owning a rather fabulous Motor Boat.

Hi, kevB, not at all antiMB.....merely within solent with zillions of sailyboats, some silly MB's causing wash prob, well reported elsewhere. But, pls KevB DO NOT take this personally. Note also that the most serious wash problems are almost (but not quite) noticeable by powerboats.

However, I do confess to poss seeing next boat 10+years hence as monster wash-resistant carib/antibes/carib/antibes 85foot sailboat with massive jetboat tender to resolve all (my) problems.

Anyway TCM dont count any more cos he's got an 80 odd ft shippy thingy and a captain. so dont count any more. Still cant find reason why cant pas within a foot or two!!

FYI, I have no interest in Sailing Boats, I am a Motor Boat enthusiast.

Unrealistic restrictions? So you must believe wholeheartedly in passing other craft (any craft) at close quarters and at high speed then?

I myself would support Self Regulation by the way. The point was that it isnt working.
