Some one on here once said 50 % of the pleasure of the boat ownership experience is fixing things , the other 50 using it .
It’s hard not to eventually end up agreeing .

Life line attachment from the turnbuckle to the alloy rear post had broken. Right where the thread goes into the turnbuckle. Corrosion.
New one €26.90. Tested the others with some effort and all sound.
Job done.

White is reflective! Also he has just had a haircut. Lastly it’s been over 30 for the last three weeks in Germany so he is use to the heat now.

I enjoy nothing more than a toilet related problem to fix, providing of course that it's on someone else's boat and I'm not the one who has to fix it. Sadly that wasn't quite the case this summer
