But surely Jabsco merely bought other companies' toilet designs by buying the companies. Raritan and Simpson Lawrence toilets also have joker valves, so how can Jabsco be credited with coming up with the name?Jabsco were intending to call it a 'choker valve' but found the name was registered in hydraulics technology. So they called it a Joker valve.
It seems they are then called duckbill valves.
