26 Mar 2001 #22 G Guest Guest Re: It depends on what you want to do. The difference between a 1500rpm motor and a 3000rpm one is not so much the fuel consumption whilst running but the overall wear on the engine. 1500rpm motors are built more heavily and last considerably longer.
