There's plenty of room for everyone so we could sail her, the motostinkieboaters could sort out the engines and the PBOers could fix anything that breaks.
$250,000 dollars for a week is going to mean around $1000 each which is about 500 quid - give or take a few bob - what do you think?

Well, I think what happened was they watched the British Skippers sailing them off to shackle dragger land and then had a practice or two once they were there.
Rather like the Rugby and the Cricket - some time later they burst onto the scene all wisdom and knowledge re-invented as masters. There - thats my take on it.

The boat you admired at Melfort is still there - ther are two - one sailed by a girl who has some physical impairment which necessitates her using a wheelchair - it's brilliant to see her out sailing - and she goes out in all weathers. Say's it gets a bit damp as there is just a flush deck right back to the cockpit.

Rain was so thick on saturday I'm surprised that any light got through. Miserable day in Glasgow shopping. Then onto CCC Dinner.

Well, i think that's a very fair and balanced analysis. They also won the americas cup a while back BUT then it turned out that the owner had pinched the money for the boat, so that doesn't really count either.

There's a disabled adventure-boat in lymingtonish i think, with a special side opening to the quay, so they scooted on and off getting ready. On their return i saw one person WALKING off the boat and thought - A Miracle! - but it turned out he was from elsewhere, delivering things...
