Why doesn't Tom Cunliffe Like Centre Cockpits?

I don't tend to have problems getting down at all... well that is apart from Vannes when I jumped down and went through the pontoon... but that can happen to anyone on any boat can't it!!

Perhaps,like me, having paid for a number of feet/metres he likes to see them all out in front when sailing!

Ever thought of just using a mooring line attached to mid cleat first, springing onto pontoon & then attaching rest at your leisure?

Ever thought that not everyone uses pontoo..... oh never mind, no-one sails outside lake solent.

In the last 2 weeks I have used pontoons in Ceuta, Gelves, Chipiona, Barbatte, Cadiz and Rota. All that time I didnt realise I was still in the Solent.

Must try harder.
