Why do I worry?

Right at this moment (22.45 Tuesday), 35 year old daughter and our 8 year old grandson are on a flight to Crete with friends for a weeks holiday. There are thousands of aircraft in the sky at any one time with very few incidents, so why do I still worry??. I fly (privately) myself, and I know about the safety statistics, and they are on a good airline (Monarch), but I'll still be relieved to receive a text to say they have landed safely!!

They were due to land at 01.00 UK time. I woke this morning to see the headlines about the crash!! Luckily she has texted to announce safe arrival!!
