Why do hunters call them pinks

Knowing very little about it, I have a vague memory that there used to be an outfitter called "Pink" who ended up giving his name to the attire. Please feel free to disagree if you know better.

Always been under the impression that sailing folk were like country folk, much more intune with their surroundings. What would Tilman think. Obviously the double speak insidiousness of the Blair regime has corrupted even this last bastion of individuality. Oh, Pink, through clever marketing and undeniable quality was tailor of choice in his day - not unlike Musto, but at least he wasn't in thrall to China. And, sorry chaps, despite the mealy mouthed puritancal killjoys - hunting is alive and well.

Is this the dog asking, or you?

Don't whatever you do call them dogs. They are hounds. And they are counted in couples, not individually.
