Why can\'t guys go to the chandlery alone ?

Why does it take 2 or more ?
Why does it take so long ?
Why do they come back with 6 things, none of them being what they went for in the first place ?
Why do they get talked into buying something we dont need "just in case darling"

because if we didn't take you, we'd come back with 20 things we dont need!! and four pairs of new shoes!! /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif It's a bit like choosing shoes, like does this shackle go with my outfit dear? Do you think this bilge pump is the right colour for my hair? No! you can't have a boat hook like that, it's just too phallic!

Thats what i meant, substitute dear for mate, then it will make sense. i know what i'm like, Englander is already like a bloody chandlers shop, surely theres a chandlers anonomous or something, i need help! Next time he goes, make him hand over his credit card and wallet. why do they have to make those shackles so pretty? my ...........precioouus! apologies to gollum

pauline its probably exactly the same reason that when girlies go to a social function they cannot visit the loo on their own. You shall never know the answer, it's a boys thing.

I think you have mis-understood.

They go for the 6 things in the first place, is just easier to say I need 1 thing, which SWMBO wont agrue with, then you buy what you really wanted and say......ooh I just could not resist and act blonde...and say...

"just in case darling"
