Bought a photo-sensitive anchor light last month and got it back to Turkey. Works well with low power draw but the cable is only just long enough for me to hoist it just past the boom, via the nearest hatch, making it invisible from one side of the boat.
Bought a 12v mozzie killer the other day. The cable is only just long enough for me to sleep in the saloon, not the cabin, if I want an unspoilt night's sleep.
What's the point in manufacturers supplying marine products with cables that are too short? I'm gonna have to open the unit up in order to solder a new, longer cable, which will invalidate the warranty no doubt. Grrrr. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
Rant over.
