Who\'s upset the Weather God?

After some good nor-westerlies I see Metcheck are predicting South winds for Saturday with 11mm rain for Isle of Wight and on line weather seem to have 2 to 2 and half wind feathers 25kts late on Saturday off Alderney. Great - just as I am setting off for a toddle around the French Coast & Channel Isles.

Sorry, my fault.

I knew cutting the grass, having a barbeque AND washing the car all in one weekend would cause problems.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm doing the RTI so will get my just rewards /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I was going to accept responsibility........
It's all coz I have planned to go for an evening sail in Poole tomorrow with a friend and have a passage from Plymouth to Salcombe planned for the weekend....guaranteed to completely scr*w up the weather for the whole week!!
And I washed the car last night!

Ah, it's you I've to blame with a SW gale forcast wednesday. Was planning to get to Brighton Wedensday evening, then Cowes thursday. Friday is looking strangely quiet at the moment.... Can't last..

At last, congratulations, hopefully when all the dust settles you can regale us with the saga (or is it very sub-rosa?)

Might have known some of you had a hand in the forecast. Looking at the latest prediction looks like a beam 2 reef thrash to Weymouth on Saturday in the rain and a far gentler poodle across on Sunday. I was thinking about through the Solent for this leaving Chi at 4am till I remembered RTI so I will get well clear of St Cats before making my mind up about CI or Weymouth. Should get a view of the faster boats coming along from Neddles anyway.
