What little creature is reponsible for this exquisite little net? I reckon each little 'slot' is about 0.2mm long. It's on my folding prop.

Thanks for that. I didn't know what to look for.
Seems to be specifically Membranipora membranacea.
Weird lifecycle.

I love the phrase ‘sequential hermaphrodites’. It reminds me of some people I see on TV.
