Lost a prop, or 2 or 3 - Lost none. Turned a few into cauliflowers, though.
Forgotten to open sea cocks - There aren't any for the cooling system
Been out in an F8 accidentally - Only been out in an F7 accidentally
Think I cheated on the running out of drink. Might have done once or twice, but went to the pub instead.
You missed out Sinking, three times, two broken gear boxes and three broken drives. About five over heatings. Umpteen blocked fuel filters and the odd one or two air leaks. Radar and GPS malfunctions, steering failier. Thats not to mention the bog.

Anyone who has not done all that and more, at least five times, has never done much boating.

Shurr it ye oul fart /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif Logged 380 engine hours season before last, currently on about 200 hours of 'this season' and have no intention on taking boat out of water
Run out of drink........... but that was Kawasaki's fault!
Dropped a valve (well a bit of it) in a newly built engine (160hrs) very embarrassing!
Lost the prop off a new boat just outside of Cowes......had to sail the bugger back (40' Warrior) to the marina and the staff wouldn't come a take a line to assist. We moved the boat the day after the prop was fitted.
Had a breakdown and moored up next ot the boat of the surveyor who did Jedi. He shook his head in an understanding sort of way, probably trying not to say "told you so"
- Lost outboard engine overboard ... lost starboard engine when trying to see how dry we could run her and which of the pickups were higher than the other...
- Run out of food/drink
- Seas bigger than the boat... well of course in boats from 14 ft to current of 45 ft.... and that is usually whan you have been caught out and wish you were somewhere else... /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
