Who\'s got a Sealine S28

Is there anyone out there who would be willing to take out my wife and myself dor a couple of hours (We'll pay the costs of course) so that we can get some honest views on S28 from an owner rather then a pushy salesman?

Any offers gratefully appreciated.

Rgds

I helm that type regualy, they are nice boats, was on one on sat in a f5-6 , in the Hamble river area and she was a well behaved lady, The bigger the engien the the more fun they are and they handle very well. Get a demo of one, you should be able to take the helm for a while then.
Good luck in your seach/forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Colin,
Julie is right, we had a three hour demo with Sealine.
They were confident with the boat so therefore they were confident that if we were serious buyers that we would buy.
They were right on both counts.
Regards,
Michael.

But Julie, Sealine only list 2 engine options, twin 4.3 Petrols, and the twin KAD32's. I like the S28, but worry the Kad32 is quite underpowered.

Surely a BIGGER Diesel would be prefered?? As you say 'Too have more Fun'!!!!

Re: Underpowered

Alistair
Haven driven a S28 with KAD32's when helping Julie on a deliveries, definately wasn't under powered. According to Sealines website, there's very little difference in performance between petrol or diesel engines.
OK S28's not as much fun as S34 with KAD43's , but ........

PS not trying to start another debate about petrol v diesel/forums/images/icons/crazy.gif/forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Re: Underpowered

I tested a S23 with a KAD 32 in it last year on the clyde, And i felt it was hugely underpowered...
I thought the S28 being a bigger and heavier boat, would also struggle, albeit, with 2 Kad 32's.
As Julie said, You sometime want to have fun!!!
And Remember i'm used to 260php Petrol, So i like Speed./forums/images/icons/smile.gif
