I'm quite happy to just ignore. He keeps having snipes and bringing things up, and can't let it go. Talk to him. Reasoning with him doesn't seem to help, though you can try?

I wanted to call my boat after famous people but swmbo poo poo`d it as she said it was to long …Shame really as `Adolf Shipman` had a certain ring to it….

I have just the one name as I can`t see the point of arguing with myself…it`s a bit like cheating at golf…totally pointless…..g`nite…

I understand but this time of year is boring,
we are all bored,
boats are out of water
its not as much fun on the water,
we have nothing to do,
not many interesting posts

and you 2 keep chewing at each other ankles,

change your username and be nice

you try saying nice things and then he will,

someone was sarky to me a while ago, I dont hold a grudge life is too short.

I just ignore the two of them .

If he didn't keep posting comments about me, it would be much easier, as then, there would be no reason for me to react to his comments. Mostly I ignore them, but sometimes he goes too far, and I naturally fight back.
If he did what I do, and just don't respond to any of his posts, there would be no trouble.

Problem is, he keeps needling, and mentioning me by name, as you can see from my link, so eventually, I give in and kick back.

Talk sense into him, and have him just do what I do, and ignore the twat

Why not just stop, and not bother me any more. I have no intention of making comments about you or Debs, so why do you keep needling me?

I changed my name to 'EME' because I wanted to use my real name to generate the kudos, respectability and gravitas of the super-suave engineers on here ( like Deleted User); the three letter 'initials' acroynm had, of course, been developed by your fellow engineers i.e. JFM and ..errgghh...TCM.

You can expect another name change soon /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
