Probably similar to last year on the sea wall down by Rice and Cole or up at the marina depending on who's interested. Will bring vodka soaked melon balls as per last year too!

Edit to say: Looks like Saturday is the better option as Jim says we are scrubbing Clives boat. We can have the BBQ on the sea wall, watch the class 1 boats come in and make them jealous of our steaks.

Re: Who would be up for a BBQ at Burnham Friday night weather permitting

I have a mooring at R&C for the week.
So I will be there plus a crew of 1.
Should I bring my folding BBQ?

If wet maybe we could requisition Full Circle and her excellent chef.
Forecast looks slightly damp at the moment.

We'll be bringing our bbq which will be good for about 6 of us so might be an idea to bring yours too!

See you Saturday

Re: Extra Guapacast

Good forecast. Worth noting. Difference between NNE and NNW could easily turn it into Variable.

Depends on whether being good enough to get to Burnham on Friday. Have inlaws, swmbo and baby in tow so will try to come for a quick beer. Have booked a berth in the yacht harbour.

Oldgit and myself complete with SWMBO's and an Albert are hoping to voyage to this exotic location that very day, that is if we can find a suitable vessel to follow.
Are you allowing out of towners to attend.......and how much for cash? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif See, we'll fit right in.

I do now /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

But shall be missing the BBQ opportunity as a very important sporting event is happening in West London on saturday afternoon.

I shall however be arriving at approx 14.00 ( I understand all the raggies will have stopped whizzing about by this time /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif ) on Sunday.
Planning to return to home port on Tuesday afternoon.

and the weather keeps looking good too.

Well, you are passing a supermarket on the way through town, so pick up some bangers etc in Tesco Express. As you reach the first pontoon (its Burnham Sailing Club) on the walk from BYH turn left and walk to the main road. Opposite is Tesco.
Continue down the High Street, turn right at the Victoria Arms. You will trip over the Royal Corinthian. Get back on the Sea Wall path, and we will be by the large green crane with a cab over it, about 400 yds past RCYC.

Me thinks you presume too much. I hazard that some may still be drifting around. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
