OK who told the Moles. Someone did. One of you lot have told the Moles that there's no more Rallies this year and it's safe to come back. my frontage is now riddled with the darn things. I rely on the constant thump of feet and spikes being driven in to keep the wretched animals at bay.

They're a complete pain in the 'arris.
Seems to be no rhyme or reason as to when they come or go, some years no, or very little activity, others ** piles of earth erupt all over the place.

The family have drawn the line at traps, but electronic noise makers just don't work.

What passes for our lawn, however is not affected, and I wonder whether some wild garlic which was planted by my SWMBO deters them. It sure deters me; an horrible smell whenever the area is Mown.

The stuff is not hugely invasive but it doesn't half resprout quickly after cutting down.

Isn't there some folk law about Lemon Verbena deterring them (- or is that for eel worm)?

If you can persuade them from entering Ashmount Towers is the best method as exterminating them will only be supplanted by the next invasion; better to say "this is not a very nice place for you Moley, 'cause it niffs"

In view of other recent threads herein, is that the sort of answer that you wanted?????
