Who made it home?

Other half travelled back to the UK yesterday.
She reported that from Caen all the way to the Channel ports almost every other car on the motorway was a Brit.

France 3 reported that Calais saw about double the number of passengers than usual on an August Friday.
Both P&O and DFDS had extra crossings and Eurotunnel had sold out for the day.

I came through Stansted two weeks ago from Ibbiza. When I was in Ibiza someone said there was a form to be filled in, so I downloaded it and filled it in. It was 3 pages of A4 all about where I was going to spend my 14 day isolation etc etc . I think it might have been a "Track and Trace" form

Nobody asked for it, so nobody knows if, or where, I spent my 14 days isolation. I wonder how many of those hurrying back will fill in the form, and how many will be collected and read

Not seeing a lot of yachts going from the continent to the U.K. on AIS tracker right now.

Assume they are not there...........or have they switched off their AIS? Surely not :)

I do know of a couple that arrived in Falmouth from a passage from the Azores last week. Apparently, the were boarded mid Channel by the Border Force, but they only wanted to see their passports, both British. They asked them about the need to quarantine, but the Border Force didn’t give any information on this or a form.

I guess when they arrived, they would have been at sea for 14 days, so that would have been their quarantine period anyway.

Wife was asked for the form before she boarded the ferry.
