Who is it?

I was back in my old hometown by chance & visited a Club I sailed at as a lad - Evesham Sailing Club. 20 or so years after I last sailed there it's closing down so I had one last look round.

I noticed an image on the wall. God knows how many times I looked at it as a kid without really taking it in. I fancy it might be a famous boat and famous sailor.

Can anyone identify both?

Looks a bit like the sublime mad Froggy to me, too. If so, a not v characteristic pose, but it looks a bit parky for him to be practising his lotus position on deck.
