I feel in a fantastic mood and am walking around in a t shirt and still warm.
I don't even mind that I have to spend tommorow doing an internal and external valet of a boat. I hope it stays like this all weekend.....to think it was snowing 3 week ago???!!

You're quite right - Luvley - end of the SAD syndrome.

Me and Tome are off soon to do a bit o' shopping for summer outfits, you know, short sleeved blouses and skimpy tops.

Still, off to St Lucia tuesday morning - I'll send you all a postcard.

Ian

I feel good all things considered, took the cordless phone outside with me, painted and sanded the deck of my Merlin Rocket and managed to wash the car so it will probably rain soon. Its aazing how a bit of sunshine can pick you up, bring the summer on!

Lucky you! We have thick sea fog here, and that's about 10 miles inland!
Still, we had no snow, at least I don't think we did. I can't remember what it looks like. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Just had a quick look around XCWeather reports and nowhere had better than 6000m in the West Channel at 1609 BST. Plymouth Roborough Airport had no wind at all, 2000m vis and the temperature was the same as the dew point - 9 degrees C

Lucky old you, I just turned down the offer of a sail, and cant do any work on the boat cause I have to work through the weekend to meet a deadline!

Bet you when I get some time of, it will be raining!

Couple more jobs below the water line, next weekend then.....

BACK IN THE WATER WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sun is shining every day here, so I dont feel great when the sun is shining, I look for some shade. :-)) You would too if you had 345 days of sunshine per year. It is actually 365, but to gain credibility I always knock of 20 days.

wet blanket ongolo in africa

ongolo = zebra in the lingo of the oshivambo or if you never seen one, imagine a donkey in striped pyjamas. That comes close.

I hurt .. spent all day playing silly bu**ers getting into corners of the boat wiring things up, connecting a calorifier, servicing the engine .. its now time for a long hot bath, followed by some beer perhaps... but is was a lovely day, what I saw of it.

Lets hope thats seen the back of those sub-zero temperatures...

Regards, Jeff.

BTW .. Sussex Regatta at Shoreham over the Easter weekend, any body else going to be there?
