They did.......Just read the news from the time!!! The RFA ship is fully equipped with heavy duty hydraulic cranes so no problem to remove a hazard to navigation from the Indian Ocean. Lots of deck space to stow it till the return to UK. They might even get salvage to help offset some costs.

The pirates left the yacht adrift!

Its a shame they didn't have the balls to do something about the pirates!

Send a great message to the pirates and other such low-lifes, you can hijack British subjects in front of the Navy and get away with it. FFS!!!!!!!!!

The Government should publicly apologise to the country about this, and the Chiefs of the Navy should all fall on their own swords in shame and for the shame they have brought on the country.
