Um, what size / model prop? My Gori prop puller looks nothing lke the drawing you show. It's a really simple thing made from brass which anyone with a primitive metal lathe could make in a matter of 20 mins. I'll photograph it if you like.
Yes, no problem, drop me a PM
It's a Gori 2 blade folding propeller 85555 16.5 x 11 RH.
Yes I'd like to see a photo of yours if you can spare the time.
I pull our feathering prop off using a large 3 leg puller and a 10mm thick mild steel disc I bought from ebay. The disc has 3 holes in it for the puller's legs and a slot to drop it over the shaft above the hub. The puller's bolt goes through the hub onto the end of the shaft. Would that work in your case I wonder?
Just to complete this ...
Paul at http://ffsystems.co.uk/ did a cracking job on the prop puller - great comms, good price and also took on some other work for me (pieces for a cutlass bearing puller) that I couldn't persuade any local workshop to do.
I've no other connection - just praise where it's due.
And in a VERY non marine related timescale by the looks of it. He just might be getting a lot more work in the future!!!
