Who agree's the Targa 48 at EBY at £135k is good value?

Re: Who agree\'s the Targa 48 at EBY at £135k is good value?

Well I had a 1997 T48 with the same engines a few years and sold it for £225k. IMHO, there is something wrong with this boat to make it such a low price. Has it been flooded? Is it a rebuild? Is it the one that lost it's props and drifted ashore. I dunno but I'd be surprised if it has'nt got 'history'.
Otherwise the T48 is usually well sought after 'coz it's one of the few 48 ft sports cruisers, if not the only one, with 3 cabins. This one has the blue hull and cherry (rather than oak) interior which makes it more desirable. Watch out for the Cat engines. Some had valve problems and should have had Cat rebuilds. If the engines check out and there's no history, then this is a bargain IMHO. Should do 32kts and about 0.9mpg at cruise. Excellent sea boat too

You've just reminded me why I sold mine!

all the Fairline off the time I think where build this way, remember in force 4 head sea when my friend had all the galley dismanted, surprisingly this 37 flybrige all with poppers
may be that is they are so expensive now, they dont build them more like that
