Hi There
First post ever! Although used a lot for info.
I'm looking into Generators or rather Genverters. I need to sort the power on a boat currently being built (steel widebeam 61ft x 11ft) and it has no hook up at mooring. Has anyone any experience of the WhisperPower All in One Power Station and any knowledge of cost. Not a liveaboard but will be hired out, so good backup power vital.
The Whisperpower unit is a Generator/Inverter/Battery Charger/Battery Store/Power Management System/with shore hook up provision all in one box. Having to buy all these components individually and pay for marine electrician to wire in. so this unit looks like it could do everything I need its components are pre wired (so hopefully will save me some costs and time all round. BUT my investigations have failed to find any reviews of the product nor ball park costs.
Second hand diesel generators around 4kw very thin on ground. This unit combines decent power inverter charger with around a 3.8kw generator so gives 7kw it suggests. Really like look of it but not much on web.
Help appreciated.
