Which Wind Genny? The panel are invited to steer me in the right direction

Many thanks. Enjoy your time on the boat (despite this rubbish weather which is coming through).
There is no huge time pressure on me to get this sorted.
I await with huge excitement the prospect of your pictures and the potential rejuvenation of the fan.

I wish!!!! Still busy fitting out so no sailing yet! Hopefully, there will be a link on this post which will show you the rear of the two magnets in the Aerogen2. Its a bit dusty but still fully functional. The front magnet and the copper winding bits are still in the old Aerogen housing that's in a box in the garage - should be easy to remove. The diameter of the magnet is about 11.5cm. If you think it may be of use to you, PM me your address and I will put it in the post - Wednesday will be the earliest I can send it as off to the boat again early tomorrow.

There are two main types of solar panels; monocrystalline and polycrystalline. Monocrystalline is slightly more efficient but if there is any shade is any part of the panel, the panel stops to operate; they are used mainly for house roofs where shade is unlikely. Polycrystalline panels are not affected if partly shaded, still produces power; excellent for boating. The panel I bought is polycrystalline semi flexible (ebay) and I am very impressed with the amount of power it produces; it charges my 4 x 110 amp batteries with no problem even on cloudy days in Southampton.
